HMT 2511 tractor was totally based on Zetor 2511 tractor and the production of tractor was started in year 1971 and last unit of it was made in year 1991 after that by doing some changes in it new models HMT 2522 OS tractor full specifications & HMT 2522 EDI tractor full specifications were introduced. Tractor has 2 cylinder naturally aspirated liquid cooled engine with 1560 CC displacement which can produce about 25 hp at 2000 engine rated RPM. Tractor has dry dual type clutch with 10 forwards + 2 reverse transmission system. HMT 2511 tractor is the most advance tractor of its time in 25 hp category and even today also in India it is most advance tractor because there is no other tractor available in 25 hp category with dual clutch, multiple PTO speeds, very low maintenance, low fuel consumption and air compressor to fulfill farmer’s different different needs. Engine

The HMT tractor’s engine is made by HMT and is based on the Zetor 2001 design. It features a 2-cylinder, 4-stroke, naturally aspirated, liquid-cooled diesel engine.
