New Holland 5620 CRDI tractor is launched by New Holland according to change in pollution norms. Price of New Holland 5620 CRDI 2 WD variant is 12.5 lakhs to 13.10 lakhs and price for 4WD variant is 14 lakh to 14.5 lakh. Tractor has 3 cylinder turbocharged with intercooler engine which can produce 65 HP at 2300 engine rated RPM, engine has 2931 cubic centimeter (CC) displacement. Tractor can produce maximum torque of 291 Nm at 1400 engine RPM. Tractor has different modes which provides different power output which can help in saving fuel. Tractor has double clutch with 3 types of transmission option. Tractor has 2000 kg weight lifting capacity with assist ram. Here are full specifications of tractor:
Common Rail Direct Injection (CRDI) system is used in engine which makes engine more silent and consumes low fuel, there different modes are introduced for this 3 cylinder engine. Let’s take a close look to engine:

Radiator cap pressure is 13psi which allow hot gases to escape at this pressure and whenever there is any fault in cap replace cap with same pressure if there will be cap with high pressure then it will cause overheating of engine.
Type & amount of engine oil: “ENGINE OIL SAE 10W-40 CK-4 SEMI-SYNTHETIC” 6.9 liters engine is used and also company recommended. To know about interval of changing engine oil check periodic maintenance chart. In radiator capacity of coolant is 11 liters and coolant type is EXTENDED LIFE OAT COOLANT/ANTIFREEZE.
As already discussed that this a turbocharged tractor and that is why take care of following points:
- After starting tractor leave it idle RPM for 60 seconds.
- When tractor is not in use then cover exhaust pipe because air flow can rotate turbo fan which may cause damage.
Transmission
Company has provided vast options in transmission which provides farmers a large number of variety for different type of applications, there are basically three types of transmission options which are able to provide almost all type of gear speeds for each & every type of application.

There are many features in hydraulic system of this tractor:
- Height limiter: it sets the lower height from land which operator desires to have in field and Lift-O-Matic lever will work on this selected height.
- Speed controller: This nob controls the working time of rear links i.e. speed to go down and then come up (you can set rear link to go slow or fast down and then up).
- Sensitivity controller: This nob controls the sensing time of top link in field.
- Top-off valve: To enable it set down rear links then tight it full and when you will pull up hydraulic lift levers then tractor will start to supply oil to external hydraulic cylinder which mainly used for tipping trailer.

There are 3 modes in tractor:
- Power mode (Power mode provides average torque and power).
- ECO mode (ECO mode is default mode which provides maximum torque and power according to engine capacity).
- ECO+ mode (This mode provides suitable torque and power).
It is always recommended to drive tractor under load limit because if there will be extra load then it may be the reason of accident and also not good for the tractor i.e. there will be overloading of engine which results high fuel consumption and decreases life of engine and better understand about it here is a table:
Model | 5620 TX plus+ |
---|---|
2 wheel drive | 5 tons |
4 wheel drive | 8 tons |
Water ballasting
To wheel slippage firstly you should add extra iron weight rings each of 50 kg weight (2 to 3) rear wheel and 30 kg weight plates on front end weight carrier and after this there is wheel slippage then you should choose water ballasting and better understand about it here is some data:
Tire size | Amount of water (kg) approx. |
---|---|
16.9*30 | 220 kg |
18.4*30 | 230 kg |
While taking care proper safety check of tractor it is very important to tight wheel and hub nuts and bolts with perfect torque amount and here we have provided unique information about it:
Parts | Torque amount |
---|---|
Front wheel (2WD) | 320 Nm |
Front wheel ( 4 WD | 220 Nm |
Rear wheel | 220 Nm |
Rear to rim bolts | 220 Nm |
Rear weight to wheel’s disk | 150 Nm |
Our tractor gives maximum working efficiency when we select perfect implement for the tractor, that’s why here is some information for implement selection for the tractor:

As we have already discussed that this tractor has CRDI and that’s why there are so many electrical sensors in it and whenever there will be anything wrong with these sensors then there will be a fault code instrument cluster and here is some data to understand about it deeply:
Fault codes identifications for New Holland 5620 CRDI:
Fault codes | Explanation |
---|---|
3001 | Error in foot throttle sensor i.e. signals are not acceptable from sensor. |
3002 | Foot throttle sensor i.e. receiving signal with voltage more than 4.8 volts |
3003 | Foot throttle sensor i.e. receiving signals with voltage less than 0.3 volts. |
14015 | VREF_1: Foot throttle VREF voltage is very high i.e. more than 5.5 volts. |
14016 | VREF_1: Foot throttle VREF voltage is very low i.e. 4.5 volts. |
14051 | Fuel level sensor short to VCC. |
